Hayao Miyazaki, pictured during the making of his newest film, ‘Kaze Tachinu (The Wind Rises)’ which opens today in theatres across Japan. I know this sounds rather silly, but what I love most about Hayao Miyazaki (other than his amazing work of course), is that he looks just as I would imagine somebody who created the likes of Howl’s Moving Castle, Spirited Away, Kiki’s Delivery Service, Princess Mononoke, Ponyo and such, should look. He just fits. Does that make any sense? I know, I’m weird, right?
